John & I live in a very small town in the delta an when I
say small if you want really good places to eat you have to drive 60 miles. It's mainly farm country around here. The one thing I will be glad about when he comes home is we will be transferring. We don't know where the Army will take us this time but I hope it is somewhere that has alot of things and sites to see. The one draw back to being in the Army is we have to move every 5 yrs. So as soon as you start to like a place it's time to pack up again.

Here are some tips for moving.
1. Go online an check on the area you will be moving to ( if you have children ) Check the crime rate, Schools, Employment Rate.
2. Check online for rental homes or apartments.
3. Find out what companies that you will be using in the area where you will be living. Electric, Water, Cable, Gas, Etc.
4. Your spouse may have to go ahead of you. If so, You will need to take care of your change of address and your utilities where your living now.
5. Make sure when packing you write what room the boxes will go to. this way you will have everything you at your finger tips.
6.Make sure all your paper work for the military is in order. Also ask when looking for a place to live. that you or your spouse is in the military , sometimes they will give a discount on rent. Do the same with the utility companies.
7. Make sure you drop by your doctors office and get copies of your records. This way when get set up with a new doctor you will everything they need to get started. same goes for dental records.
8. have your tricare binder handy you will need it when you get set up with new doctors.
9. If you are close to a military base go and check on programs they may offer to help you settle in.
10. Also check out the base shops you can find great deals for food, clothing, and home supplies.

These are the things I have done and it makes it so much easier...
Trust me when I say military life is hard enough without any more drama

It's 2012, and 2011 was a ruff year. With John being deployed and my dad being sick. It's been a roller coaster ride from hell at times but it was worth it. I've spent lots of time with my family and John is holding up good. Christmas was hard being away from him but he will be home soon for R&R. I can't wait we are going to have a late Christmas together but it will be a good one I'm leaving the tree up till he gets here and I already have a Christmas dinner plan for him. We are going to have Ham, Dressing, Pecan pie (which is his favorite). We will open our presents and have some cuddle time. It will be late but it will a wonderful christmas in January.

All about my babies......

Well it's 2012, God it's hard to believe how much time has gone by since I married my soul mate. We were married on Nov. 8, 1997.  14 years WOW! We have been through alot together . Somethings that would make a couple divorce over but we made it and we are stronger for it. Our love is so strong it amazes me sometimes. We found out a month before we were married that I couldn't have children and I told John I was not going to marry him because of that, But he stuck with me. And we have been together ever since. We do have children well they are our pets but there still our babies. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs, their names are Sadie, LIL puss, Festiss and Crocket. We had two other dogs but they have passed away their names are Katie she was 11 1/2 years old and bluebell she was 5 years old they were the love of our lives. Thats why they are our children and they only get the best.
