Well Christmas is finally over and here comes the new year. I sit here and wonder what lies ahead. This past year was pretty ruff. I pray this one is
better. My husband is in the military and we will be transfering sometime this year. We are not sure where we will be going. But we hope it will be a new adventure for us. I look forward to a new beginning. It's tuff leaving the people you love but it is also wonderful sharing this adventure with your soul mate. I'm so proud of my husband and the job he does everyday. He works so hard and he proudly serves his country.
This year is going to be a great one I can feel it. I want to be a good person and help my follow man or woman. I hope everyone who reads this feels the same way. Lets all make a vow this year to help someone with what ever they may need or say a kind word to someone you don't know. We all are blessed in some way or another. So what could it hurt it will just take a moment of your time.
I hope everyone has a great New Year. God Bless you all.......

Almost time for Santa
Well Kids it's almost that time again. It's only 2days until Santa Comes. I remember when I was a kid trying to stay up all night to catch him putting out my toys. Of course I never could stay awake. Some of the best memories of my childhood was when Santa would come to my house. He always did a good job for me and my sisters. Sometimes I miss that time of my life when you could feel that type of excitement. Now I'm 36 yrs old and the excitement is gone a little but it has changed to something a little more special. I get to see my nephews faces and the excitement they feel when Santa comes Christmas Eve. I see the same reaction in their faces that I had when I was a child. I'm so greatful for the momeries I have of past Christmas's.
I hope everyone's dreams come true this Christmas .
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

A Christmas get together with the Family this weekend......
It's funny how we all look forward to Christmas each year. My husband and I usually have alot of family functions to attend. I look forward to them because we don't get to see everyone now that we don't live close by anymore. It's really hard now with all four of my grandparents gone. Christmas just doesn't seem the same without them. But we all try and keep the family together as much as possible. I really look forward to going to my aunt's she makes candy every year just like my grandmother did. It is so good. It's like she's still here with us. I'm going to make Pecan Tarts. I'll let everyone know how they turn out and will post the recipe.
Sometimes I think we all get so wrapped up with Christmas traditions and who can buy the best presents that we forget about the real meaning of Christmas. To me the meaning of Christmas is the day Christ was born and Family. And I love both very much. That is all I want for Christmas this year is to be with my family and friends, to enjoy our time together.
My husband always laughs at me because he says I'm like a kid at Christmas but it's not what I get it's what I give to others. I love finding a present that is prefect for the person I'm getting it for. To see the smile on their face and they know that I choose it just for them. It makes me feel good. I love to buy for my parents. They gave so much to me when I was growing up it makes me feel good knowing I can give back to them. I grew up in a home where my parents always were helping other people and they have pasted it on to me. This is what Christmas is all about giving to others and remembering the first gift of Christmas was a Child. A wonderful prefect Child.
So I say to everyone remember what Christmas is all about... And Have a wonderful Christmas and I hope everyone is blessed in the coming year.......

Family Issues
Families issues are really amazing. My family always have issues. I have 3 sisters and one brother. There is always something going on with them, they have so much drama in their lives that they don't have any time left to just live life to the fullest and be happy. There is so much more out there and they can't see it. My husband and I don't drink, don't do drugs or run around on each other. I'm not trying to say we are perfect because we have made our share of mistakes in the past I mean everyone does. But you have to learn from your mistakes and grow from them. I went thur my wild years But when I met my husband I grow up. He was the best thing to ever happen to me. He showed me that there is more out there in the world and I could be apart of it. And that it is ok to want more in life. It's perfectly ok to want the home, kids, 2 cars and nice things and most importantly to be with someone you love. But you won't get those things if you are not living the way you should. We all should want to be a better person and help each other. I am blessed everyday for things I do. It doesn't take much work to be better. Do a good deed for your fellow man or say a kind word to someone you don't even know. My siblings have forgotten that. I pray for them everyday that they will change. I just hope that someone reading this blog is touched by it in some way. Make the change today and I promise you won't regret it.

The Reason for the season......
My Family and I are going to our first Christmas gathering for this year on Sunday. We only see each other about twice a year. It is so important to be with family this time of the year. It's not about the presents, it's about loving one another and spending as much time as you can each other. Oh and let's not forget the food it's nothing like being with family and having a great meal at the same time. My husband and I have 5 family get togethers to go to this year for Christmas. It's a busy time for us. And it's even harder with him being in the military. But we wouldn't miss them for the world. I'm afraid next year will be different because he will be transferring and we may be 1000 miles away. So this year we are trying to get in as many as we can. When your a kid Christmas has a different meaning it's more about the presents and waiting with excitement for Santa to come. Now I understand the real meaning of the season. It's about Christ and family. The love we have for all of it. So please remember what I've written. And have a wonderful Christmas and the year to come.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Went to Tupelo, Ms. to help some friends. Friends are such a nice thing to have in your life. Now days everybody is so busy no one takes time to really get to know people anymore. Families are the same way. Now most family get togethers happien when a loved one passes away. Families really need to take time for each other. They are gone to quickly. Be good and love one other. You can never say I love you to much. Remember that always.......
